QCFI Thane Chapter Annual Event CCQC-24

The Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) Thane Chapter successfully organized its annual event, CCQC-24, with great participation and enthusiasm.

The event saw an impressive attendance of over 750 delegates, with a total of 151 teams competing. Of these teams, 106 represented Quality Circle (QC) teams, and 45 represented Other Concepts teams.

Participation and Awards:

59 Organizations Participated: Including prominent names like Adani Power-Godda, Parle Biscuits, RCF-Thal, RCF-Mumbai, Godrej Industries, Godrej-Astec, Mother Dairy, Adani Power Dahanu, JSW (Dolvi, Vasind, Tarapur, Khopoli), NTTF, Asahi Glass, POSCO Maharashtra, Parle (Gulbarga, Hyderabad, Belgaon), among others.

Awards Breakdown:

• 90% of the teams won Gold.
• 10% of the teams won Silver.

Special Recognitions:

• JSW Khopoli bagged the prestigious Best of Best Award among Quality Circle teams.
• Adani Power, Jharkhand secured the Best of Best Award in the Other Concept category.
• JSW Steel Coated Products, Tarapur received recognition for fielding the Highest Number of Teams.
• Parle Biscuits was honored with the Maximum Units Participation Award.
• JSW Steel Coated Products, Vasind Unit received the award for Highest Participation from Debutant Organizations.

The event's Chief Guest, Mr. Sang Kug Han from POSCO Korea, praised the achievements and efforts of all the participating teams.
